The SRA professional membership designation is awarded by the Appraisal Institute, Chicago, IL. The SRA designation is the Institute’s most prestigious for its members who are experienced in the analysis and valuation of residential real property. To hold an Appraisal Institute designation, an individual must meet rigorous educational, experience, and ethical requirements. Fewer than 1% of all appraisers nationwide hold the SRA Designation.
